Bittersweet

I do not own Soul Eater. It was all very ironic. Painfully, beautifully, ironic in all the twisted perfect ways. It was all his fault and becoming all her burden. He took a deep breath. It was over and she was perfectly, ha perfectly, okay with moving on. His chest felt rather heavy yet hollow. Such contradiction surely was as asymmetrical as it got. "Come on, Kid." Soul sympathetically said, "Every relationship has its ups and downs." Kid shook his head and sighed in defeat. He covered his face with his hands. He was so ashamed of himself. Never, not once, had he truly wished to be thrown away like now. Well, he bitterly thought, technic

Dear Kid

"I'm heading to the academy Dad, catch you when I get home!" Lord Death the Kid did a double take as his son shot past him through the main hall of Gallows Manor, heading for the massive double front doors. He stopped abruptly only a few feet away, staring at his skull-emblazoned watch then looking up at his parent, "Are you gonna be okay here by yourself Dad? You get all weird this time every year." The elder read the worry in the teenager's eyes and smiled. He was such a good kid. She would have been proud of him. "I'll be fine, go and have fun." "You sure?" The younger reaper persisted. His father always seemed just a little bit melancho

Midnight

I do not own Soul Eater. Prompt for Kid/Liz Week: Midnight XXXX Kid heard, in mild amusement, the conversation the two Thompson sisters were having. The two must have not known that he was sitting at the kitchen table and could hear everything going on in the living room. They were speaking about him and how they were going to drain him dry for his money. The conversation offended him in no way even when they called him the ‘spoiled rich brat’. He continued eating his bowl of cereal and disapproving their whole plan to steal from him. Why were they being so dim-witted? They didn’t need to drug him or wait until he was out t

Celebrate

“I want to celebrate.” Kid stated as he entered Liz’s room. Kid, happily eighteen as of a couple months ago, didn’t even consider knocking. He came in with a confident smile and an apple cider bottle. Liz, who had been lying on her bed cuddling a pillow, looked up at him. She had been reading a magazine to get her mind off of things, but leave it to Kid to barge in to her room to make her think of it again. She sat up to be on the edge of the bed as he walked up to her. Liz’s face showed no emotion as she said, “You want to celebrate our break up?” The gang had gone to play basketball, drink coffee from D

KidLiz Week Prompt 3- Cherry

Liz had been able to get Maka and Tsubaki and their partners to watch Patty while she and Kid went out for the day on a date. They had walked around the city most of the day, stopping at various places and enjoying the others company. Near the time they had decided they would go and start on their way to go get Patty from Maka's house, they found a cute little frozen yogurt shop. Kid had never tried frozen yogurt, so Liz insisted she get them both some before they left.            They got in line and grabbed a yogurt cup for them to share. They each picked one flavor- Kid got Vanilla and Liz got Rasberry, so they more or less c

Pencil

“She is devil, she has to be.” Kid huffed. Kid looked down at his notebook and shook his head. They hadn’t covered half of what he wanted to tutor her on. His jaw clinched. Not only had she been late, but she seemed too distracted by her own thoughts to really pay attention. Why did the teacher chose him to tutor her? The whole project was stupid anyways. He understood Miss Marie was all about helping people, but this didn’t relate to the psychology class at all. The project was to work with students their age, but in a lower class then they were in any subject. Professor Stein, as sadistic as he was, had chosen his wors
